What the assessment examines

Your skin type and how it has healed after previous injury, including any tendency to darken or to form raised scars; what is currently active on the face, such as infection, inflammation or a cold sore; which layer your concern actually sits in — surface texture, skin firmness, or descended tissue that no needling reaches; and any medication, implanted device or recent treatment that changes the plan.

What to bring

A list of your current medications, including anything that affects clotting and anything prescribed for acne; your recent sun and travel history; any previous treatment records or photographs; and a clear description of what you want to change, phrased so that a photograph could settle it. If you have been offered a plan elsewhere, bring it — reviewing it is a legitimate reason to book.

What happens if it is not for you

You will be told, and offered what matches the problem instead: mechanical microneedling where the pigment risk argues for it, a different class of device where the concern is laxity rather than surface, a surgical opinion where tissue has descended, or simply waiting where the concern is unclear. That is a result rather than a rejection.

How to arrange it

Contact the outpatient line, or write through the address on the contact page, and say that you are asking about RF microneedling. If you are travelling from outside Chongqing, say so when you book: the team can tell you what can be done by remote consultation and what needs an in-person examination of the skin.
